Melissa George Kessler

Organizations + Communications

I have long supported myself, and defined myself, through writing and editing. I’ve written for publication since age 15, at newspapers and, for eight years, producing a weekly newsletter for a national trade association. I now do freelance work for clients of all types looking for well-edited, tight copy!

I am fascinated with how people work together and have a master’s degree in organization development from American University. I offer consulting services to help groups work more efficiently and effectively.

Myers-Briggs (Explains Life)

I am a certified practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, an assessment that helps individuals understand themselves and teams work together better. I offer workshops appropriate for work groups, schools, even families.

Why the photos?

Since 2010, I’ve been on the road about a quarter of the time. Happily, this means seeing a lot of interesting things, some of which are pictured here.
